Ayan is an Indian Tamil language action film co-written and directed by KV Anand in 2009. The film, starring Suriya, Prabhu, Tamannaah, Akashdeep Saighal, Jagan, and Karunas, was produced by M. Saravanan and MS Guhan and distributed by Sun Pictures. Score and soundtrack of the film is composed by Harris Jayaraj, edited by Anthony Gonsalvez and filmed by MS Prabhu.

Filming took place in various parts of India, including Namibia, Malaysia, Zanzibar and South Africa. It was released on 3 April 2009 worldwide for positive reviews. Ayan was declared the solo blockbuster of the year in Tamil cinema and grossed about 80 crores (US $ 11 million) worldwide. It was dubbed and released on 1 May 2009 as a video in Telugu at the box office success in Andhra Pradesh.
