Karnan is a 2021 Indian Tamil language action drama film directed by Mari Selvaraj and produced by Kalaiyapuli S.Thenu under his V Creations banner. The film stars Dhanush, Lal, Yogi Babu, Ashakam Perumal, Nadarajan Subramaniam, Rajisha Vijayan and Kiri G. Starring Kishan and Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli. The storyline is loosely affected by the 1995 Kodiyankulam caste violence in the Thoothukudi district.

Music composed by Santosh Narayanan, cinematography by Theni Eeswar, Selva R. K. Editing is included. It features a character named Karnan, who comes from a conservative background and fights for the rights of his people.

After a brief lengthy production, the title Karnan was also announced in January 2020. The film is mostly set in the suburbs of Thoothukudi district. Following the start of filming, the film was completed in December 2020; Production is delayed due to COVID-19 infection. It was released theatrically on April 9, 2021.
